Cutting & Assembly

Use the files with laser cutting machines whose control software supports a supplied format and whose hardware is suitable for your chosen material.

Select the holder version for your business card size: 3.5 × 2 inches or 8.5 × 5.5cm. Then select the cutting files for 3mm, 3.2mm (1/8 inch) or 4mm material to match your sheet thickness.

Before cutting, check the imported scale, dimensions, actual material thickness and joint fit. Allow for your machine’s kerf and test a small joint section first. Check the internal dimensions against your business cards to ensure a suitable fit. If resizing the design, adjust the joints separately to match your material thickness.

Add your personalised engraving before cutting and assembling the panels. Dry-fit the parts first, then use a suitable wood adhesive if required.
